Book Sale

Citizens for the Restoration of Historical La Mott will hold a book sale for the benefit of the Camp William Penn Museum.

This sale will feature books for all ages, from a private collection, about the Civil War.  Additional books re African Americans in the military as well as books about Native Americans will be included. A wide range of general interest and coffee table books will be included. A 3rd Regiment USCT Re-enactor will be present to talk about Camp William Penn and the Civil War. Dr. James Paradis, author/historian will be present for conversation about Camp William Penn on Sunday, May 21. There will be videos to view as well as pictures with crayons for children to color.

This sale will take place at:  The Camp William Penn Museum, 1618 Willow Avenue in La Mott, 19027.

Flea Market Fundraiser

CROHL will participate in the Cheltenham Township Flea Market on April 29 at Curtis Arboretum, 9:00 to 1:00.
Collectibles, household items, also will include vintage and antique items.
The rain date is May 6th.  All proceeds benefit the CWP Museum.

Citizens for the Restoration of Historical La Mott (CROHL) Invites you to come and hear Adrienne Mazar, teacher/musician, present “Keep Taps Live”. She will speaking about and demonstrating the use of bugles and drums in the Civil War.

Additionally, Dr. James Paradis, the author/historian/teacher, will speak about “Civil War Bands”.

The event will feature Lucretia Mott, portrayed by Kerry Bryan. Additionally Joe Becton, Antoine Watts, and Crystal Kemp, musicians and USCT re-enactors, will perform songs of the Civil War.

This is a free event. Donations welcome.
