The right wing of this regiment left Philadelphia March 15th, 1864 and was assigned to garrison duty at Beaufort, N. C., later joining the left wing at New Orleans. In October, the command was sent to Pensacola, Fla., in which state it was garrisoned at Forts Pickens and Barrancas to the conclusion of its service, December 6th, I865.
